What do I need to turn a '11 SS Conv. into a canyon carver?

Title pretty much says it all, the car needs to be fairly comfortable but also perform great at 8/10, and 9/10 on rare occasions, I'm interested in anything and everything. Ride noise is a consideration, I don't want to be having to explain squeaks and rattles to my wife, but other than that I just want to hear what you guys have to say! (Also, it has a whipple with around 650bhp) Thanks!

Subframe bushings and sways. If you have a pre 2012 car, you can convert to the fe4 suspension and then do zl1 sways for the best of the best in terms of sway bars.

Contact Jordan at JDP Motorsports his car is a cornering monster he can get your car the way you want it

First off, more balls than me.
Unless you autocross the car it's got more handling than you'll ever throw at it. I traded my coupe on my vert, picked it up in vancouver and took the Fraser Canyon home. I scared the crap out of my self and the car didn't budge. Lost an STI too who didn't have the balls to keep up with me.
I frequently take a drive on a very windy, very pretty, no traffic road. The cars stinks like rubber clutch and brake when I get it home. Don't feel the need to upgrade as it handles every thing I want to throw at it.
I've done bushings and drop springs, for the look and to stop wheel hop. Didn't notice any improvement in max capabilities. Some guys put in upgraded sway bars, makes the car corner flatter but I bet they still don't push any of the all out gains. Unless they are tracking it.

Seconding this.

Sways, convert to FE4 setup with ZL1 sways if keeping staggered wheels. That is cheapest route and should be very good.Do Hotchkis drop springs for 1" drop and best ride and good handling if lowering, also has good clearances with only 1" drop. If you have $$ do coilovers for best ride and handling, but not needed really unless serious about tracking the car.
See what I have in my sig? Thats overkill for canyon carving as to the sways but wanted adjustabillity if needed as I auto x the car alot and get rid of understeer so you arent manhandling 2 tons around corners. Biggest thing to have on the sways is that they give you closer to neutral steer and get rid of body roll, this makes the car more fun as you arent fighting the massive understeer you have now.

Cool, thanks for all the tips guys, I'm leaning towards pedders, does anyone know if there is a major handling difference between their Track 1 XA and Track 2 XA? (Track 2 XA includes sway bars and links and such)

I recommend Pedders Pace Car Kit with ZL-1 style rear sway bar.:happyanim:

This will allow you to run with the Z06s and ZR1s. While you're at it, throw on some adjustable camber plates. Enjoy

Awesome, thanks. Also, who sells good adjustable camber plates? And will I need them? I'm only going to lower the car the absolute minimum amount.
