Summertime In Your Camaro Are You Ready?

Where you plan on heading this year? I hope it's somewhere you'll get to kick back and relax enjoy the atmosphere and won't have to worry about washing your car and then it rains. I hate when the weather is Bipolar.

Living in texas, the weather is always bipolar. On tuesday I wore shorts, a tank top, and flip flops, and then yesterday I wore jeans, uggs, and a northface jacket...:frusty:

Texas sounds a lot like Alabama, but it settles off in late June, suddenly the forecast for 2 months is Hot and Humid, afternoon thunderstorms everyday.

Starting the Summer right with F Body Gathering in Atlanta Memorial Day weekend. Awesome time, very relaxing

ill be in afghanistan for summer time so no washing or driving the camaro at all :( but the good part is, not miles added to her either :)

Nope....not ready. Maybe when I get my headers, tune, lighting work, and spoiler all done I'll be ready. Hahaha probably not even then.

I'll be driving to and from work (130 mile round trip) and up and down Thomas Dr. and Front Beach Rd (because those are the roads I live on). That's about it. Haha.

It's starting to get nice here, up into the 70s this weekend. My summer plans include going to the Sturgis Camaro Rally in late June, and I'll hit a few car shows in July and August. I'm a weekend worker though, so I have to pick and choose, using my vacation days judiciously.

Well since I bought it I have had one nice day the rest of this week it's been rainy and miserable lol

Next weekend should be in the 80s and sunny though. Today it's cold and overcast.

Here in parts of Arkansas it's been 85 the last two weeks and then it snowed Wednesday...

Why wait for summer for a road trip - in Nov to Jan I drove my Camaro through 14 states! This month I'll be hosting several dozen Plymouth Prowlers (used to own one and still have many friends from those days) for a week of cruising through Texas Hill Country - then maybe a trip to a friend's lake cabin in South Cenral Kentucky for a week in July.

Might go to Woodward Ave Dream Crusie in Detroit in May and/or a couple of large car shows in Central Indiana in September during James Dean birthday week festivities.

A couple of 3 day camping trips are also planned. Yes, camping with the Camaro :thumb:

Enjoy the Route 66 trip. I drove it from Indy to Chicago to the Santa Monica Pier and back to Indy in 12 days.

Drove Route 66 start to finish in 2010. Planning on maybe an east coast trip this year, Main to Florida, if time allows.
