Shots of Camaro Pace Car on the Track @ Daytona

OK Group,
I finally got back to the office from the 51st Daytona 500 and found that my pictures weren't all that bad. There were two identical pace cars, as there are in every NASCAR event, as they split the field for tach calibration and sync'ing to the pit road speed. Here's what I have and I hope you enjoy. Also, by the way, quit the color discussion. The entire paint job on these cars were non-standard colors. There was no metallic in the grey that I could tell from being both close up at the Chevy booth and from watching from the stands and the yellow-orange is not in the standard GM array for the Camaro. |
My boss mentioned that he could here the Camaro when they got on it going down Pit Road. His seats were in the Cambell Tower.

Great pictures, I liked the last one where it is in front of that Toyota....
PS I jumped for joy when He got taken out in that big wreck.... Glad nobody was hurt! |

Now, Now...play nice~! The race itself was one of the best events I've attended in years. From the 1st Green flag until the rain started at 6:30p (local), it was hammer down and hard charging the whole time...and that Toyota will be hell on wheels all season. Don't discount that driver or team. The most prominent logo on Coach Gibbs pullover was M&M's...you can bet that he's putting a lot of hands-on time in with the 18 team & driver...and my driver wears red and carries #14. |
nice shots.

as for the colors - yes the gold is non-standard, but i think this confirms the Cyber Gray Quote:
