Anyone see WW11 Bombers flying over this weekend.
A couple of my friends and coworkers were flying/riding in a B-17 out of Chandler. One of them sent me a pic over Firebird. They were wondering what was going on down there. He's a Mustang fan. Told him He wouldn't understand. LOL!

I saw the B17, started freaking out with excitement.

Yeah they were out joyriding the B-25 too. Think they were "giving" rides out of nearby Chandler. Wish I would have known about it sooner than later to post here. May have been a fun extracurricular activity for those taking a break from the track. If he sends me anymore pix will post them.

Bomber?? What bomber??
Seriously, it was awesome to see it in the air. There's no mistaking the sounds of THOSE engines  |
LOL Awesome picture and great car. Should have it framed and on a wall!:)

Yeah, that was cool. I believe it was the Aluminum Overcast, from the Collins Foundation. I took a tax deductible joy ride in it when they came to Utah a couple years ago. One of the coolest things I've ever done!

We saw it! Lots of people stopped in their tracks and stared in awe. Glad he didn't know it was a Chevy show, he may have dropped a couple bombs!

The Commemorative Air Force Museum is loacted at Falcon Field in Mesa, AZ and they have many air shows during the winter time when most of the planes are here. The Apache helicopter is made at the Boeing plant which is down the road from the Museum. It is quite a site to not only see a B-17, B-25 of P-51 Mustang flying around, but also see a squadron of newly made Apache's flying overhead.

That is the best background used in a Camaro photo op!!
