Do I need a new power harness?

So, I'm in the middle of troubleshooting with AAC at the moment to get my HID setup working. previously (and currently until I get the HID kit working), I am using these bulbs also purchased from AAC.

Over time, they began to dim and lose functionality. In the midst of installing my HID kit, I noticed that the middle slot (ground) is burned. this would explain the dimming and other issues. I've been told that this will not be an issue for the HIDs because you will be grounding them to the frame.

My question is "How expensive would it be to replace these plugs and is it worth it?"

I still have the dealership warranty, but I'm not so sure they will cover it if they know I was using a 3rd party bulb :/

depends on how the plugs connect to the wires. some need a special clamping tool.

Oh that's easy just buy a replacement bulb and install it. Then explain to them they are dimming and that is the 3rd set you have been through. That should work.
