can anyone tell me where the Ls3 is built?
Thanks |
I wanna say Mexico, but I won't swear to that.

I can't tell you right now. When I go to work Monday I'll ask or it should say on the package list as they come in .

Hey Robert that blue is my pick of colour for that car !

I think I read some where the LS3 is made at the St. Catharines Powertrain Plants in Canada. Found it... see page 3 of this link.

Hey thanks Jimmy ! See what do I know we only paint them LOL

I hope it is Canada, cause I just found out that the 6.1 Hemi is made in Mexico which has sent me running to the Camaro. I have been restoring a 72 Trans Am for the last 5yrs and will be finished in a few months, so I have been pro Pontiac for the last 5yrs I am putting it up for sale and wanted to use the money for a Beefy modern day muscle car, it is a lot less worry. I will be going after a Black SS with the 6spd in few months, I am sure it will be sweet!
Thanks Tim |
Just to let you know the Camaro feels like the roof has been chopped when your sitting in the car ! Plus with the traction control off the car goes Ape S--t. The V6 with only 5 hp less than Mustang GT. The SS should eat every thing in it's path. They did this one right thats for sure !

It's made in St. Catherine's in Canada.
|
Is the L99 built there also?
|
If you ask some folks on here, they will say Mt. Olympus. After all, the LSx series of GM motors have been blessed by the gods!:sm0:
