JBA Mid pipes question..
 

I really want to put the JBA mid pipes with high flow cats and was wondering if this voids the warranty? If somebody would please let me know that would be great.

No. They won't void your warranty.

I put a set of JBA HF cats with JBA shorty headers on my 1LE and it's excellent. Only thing that I recommend or to remember is to order a set of o2 extenders for the sensors past the cats. Solo comes with them, JBA does not. Not a big deal though.

Downside of the JBA ones is that it's like 50/50 if they'll throw a code.

I had JBA mid pipes with high flows attached to the stock manifolds for a while and it would throw a code every 100 to 200 miles, even with extenders for the rear sensors. I would just delete it with a code reader. The gaskets from JBA that sit between the manifolds and the mid pipes blew out completely due to poor fitment with stock mainfolds. So I put on JBA shorty headers, new Felpro gaskets from Autozone/Advance, and smaller spark plug non foulers on top of the extenders. No codes anymore... Not sure if it was the fitment and the eventual leak that lead to the codes or the extender not keeping the sensor far enough out of the exhaust stream. Hope this info is somewhat useful. Just thought I would throw in my 2 cents...

There's several different extenders available. The ones I bought seem to be working so far no codes. Some have just a small opening / port (the ones I have) to allow gasses through, some are wide open and some have pieces included to make the port or hole different sizes (adjustable for the lack of better description).

With the Solo HF cats I had on my 45th SS (welded in extenders) it threw a code but that was due to a sensor that was sucking air from not being tightened / seated correctly. After chasing the threads and retightening all was good to go.
