Just bought a 2013 Camaro 2SS 1LE mid-life crisis machine. Literally 30 minutes ago. Victory red. Awesome.

I'm coming from the Mustang world, recently sold my '11 GT. Don't know much about the Camaro community or LS tech, but that's why I'm here.

I'll post some pictures when it's light.

May go out to the garage and listen to the backfire burble (my Mustang never did that:noidea:.) Did I mention it's awesome:headbang:

Was I supposed to receive some kind of oil separator in the trunk? I think I read that somewhere.

Yes, my dealer installed mine and gave me the replaced parts in a box.

Welcome to the family. You have chosen the ultimate machine and kudos for trading in the Ford. No comparison to the 1LE. You will have a perma-grin soon I am sure. :headbang:. I traded my 2010 2LT RS 4 weeks ago for my black beauty and it is by far the best car I have ever owned, driven, etc. I picked the 1LE over a 2012 Grand Sport Vette because there was no comparison after driving both.

I'd be interested in your thoughts comparing the two cars.

I bought my 2013 1LE a couple weeks ago, the oil separator was already installed. Congrats and am also waiting to hear how this is to the 'stang. I came from a 2010 SS.

I too am a Mustang convert.

I think the oil separator was, hyper-technically, my first mod. The second was window tinting. Amazing to me that a stock car comes with the gurgling awesomeness. Anyway, the 1LE is my intro to the camaro community as well, didn't realize it even existed until I got one.

Same here...went to look at the SS and they lady showed me the 1LE...I was amazed just hearing it start up and driving it sealed the deal...

Congrats! I just got mine a few weeks ago as well. My previous cars were a 2012 and 2010 Mustang GT. So far, I am liking the Camaro a lot. I just wish there were more aftermarket websites like there are for the Mustang. Hopefully I am just not seeing them all yet.

unfortunately, the mustang has a whole lot more aftermarket support, mainly because of the 8 year hiatus with the camaro, but time will change that.
