Tri-County Tampa

On Aug 12th 2012 the founding member (myself) of another Tampa area club came together with 5 other locals with a desire for something much better than what was available in other local clubs. On that day a new club was formed and became the first expansion chapter of Tri County Camaros. Tri County Tampa was born.. Tri County is now three chapters strong covering all of Southern Florida.

Coming to one of our meets is the ONLY way to be considered for membership. As opposed to some other clubs we do not accept everyone who wishes to join. We only accept like minded individuals with similar interests period. There are NO EXCEPTIONS. Yes we are a Camaro club but, to us it is much more than that. We are a group that puts the people and friendships first. The cars are great and we love them but let's face it. At the end of the day it is a car. We are not about quantity membership wise. We do not care if we are the smallest or largest club around. We are all about quality people and cars plain and simple. We are the hardcore muscle nuts. Donk Camaros, those with spinning rims or a Walmart auto section full of junk stuck onto the car need not apply.

We only accept members looking to build friendships. Those who can sit down and have a beer and chat it up, joke around and have a good time. We enjoy a good party. Drinking, Racing, mod installs and general excitement.

At least a once monthly meetup will be set up in the bay area. Once a month isn't much to ask of club members. There is a one time club membership fee of a couple pitchers of beer.

Once you become a member you will be able to purchase any number of TRI COUNTY GEAR.

Keep in mind though we are all ONE CLUB. With membership all over Florida and sponsored by many of the top flight performance shops in the state.

March 29th weekend. Pony Wars in Valdosta. Most members are going. We are heading out of Friday at 2pm. Meetup is off i-75N at the first rest stop after State Road 56 in Wesley Chapel.

I was at Wiregrass with my boyfriend, were you the guys all together at the front of the show!!

I just bought my Camaro and didn't even know about a club until Wiregrass.

Candice, there were two clubs at the show. One was down at the very end and we were right in the middle with half 4th gens & half 5th gens near where the trophies were awarded.

I remember your car. Very nice. Were you not around? I didn't get to talk to anyone about their rides. The other group was very chatty and told me to join this forum.

What does it cost to join? You said there are dues but what for? I also see there are 2 groups of you, which would I join? Or do I pay for membership to both?

I am a medical professional and what happens if I cannot attend the "mandatory" meeting? Seems a little harsh, "mandatory" for just a fun gathering or do I just not know?
