I Set Up My Order Yesterday!
 

I went to my dealership yesterday, sat down with the owner and went over what he will be ordering me on Monday! I am on his first shipment, the first set of orders. Even though I was not technically on a waiting list, he put me ahead of like, 11 people, figuring I would want the car! And, the best part is I'm paying $500 over invoice for the car, and cost on all accessories! I was very happy about this, although I figured I would get a deal, because I paid invoice on my Vette. But, due to high demand of the Camaro I knew I would pay a little over invoice, but it is good enough for me. Very happy with how things went.

I'm not worried about prices, I traded in a brand new '09 Vette for it! I'll actually be getting money back. And, at $500 over invoice of the car I'm not to worried. My family has been doing business with this dealer for 30 years! My father bought his first '79 Z28 at this dealer and all of our Vettes since. Now, I will be getting my first Camaro from the same dealership!

A dealer giving you $500 over invoice? You must be a really good customer of his for that. What part of NY you in? When you decided on the shorty headers were you required to get the cat-back exhaust then?

Yeah, we have bought 8 Chevys in three years there: 2005 Corvette, 2006 Corvette, 2007 Tahoe, (2) 2007 Silverado 1500 and 2500, 2008 Silverado, (2) 2009 Corvette Coupe and Convertible. I'm 30 miles out of Manhattan, but the dealership is 35 miles upstate in Orange County, NY. I don't think you have to get the catback exhaust, if you get headers. But, if your doing either one and have unlimited funds, than it makes sense to do both, because they are both going to improve performance and are covered under warranty.

Yeah, it should be okay, the gray is very dark, like in the Silverado. t's like a titanium color. I just don't want black because it gets way too hot in the summer!

I live 30 minutes North of Manhattan in Pomona, NY. The dealership I'm purchasing the Camaro from is 35 miles Northwest of me in Orange County, NY. I am not going to give the dealerships name out for confidentiality purposes. I told the owner I would not mention what dealership I purchased the car from because of the price he gave me. He knows I come on this forum, because when I ordered the car I showed him this site, he loved it and wished he knew about it sooner, because he would've known more info, so kudos to us!

I alos order mine yesterday - order book actually took the order in the system; no need to wait until tomorrow.
