I REALLY want to see ALL the stock wheels

I hope they show them at SEMA or sometime before I order.

I really want to see all of the GMPP additions in person. I'm very excited about the wheel and performance options. GMPP has really made an astounding effort to stay ahead of the competition with parts and accessories. The Camaro is the best opportunity for GMPP to shine.

i am definately getting the steel rim design. its almost exactly like my 78 camaro's rims. if not identical. just a different color maybe

The 18" Aluminum looks like a new take 3rd Gen wheels...
I wonder if I can get the 18" Steelies to clear the Brembo calipers on the SS??

I'd think you could get the 18" Steelies to clear the brakes on the fronts but maybe not the rears. The 2008 Z06 runs 18's up front and 19's in the rear.

SS Front Rotors: 14"
Z06 Front Rotors: 14"
SS Rear Rotors: 14.4" <--This is likely what would keep you from running 18's all around.
Z06 Rear Rotors: 13.4"

will the 20"s be available in black????

headpunter 10-01-2008 12:18 PM

its matter what wheels are looking at. you cant go apples to apples in size because there are differences in the thickness of the wheel. so maybe one 18 fits but another wont. those steel wheels could be thicker.

Thats what I wanna know. I dont want a 21'' wheel. Thats too uncommon, I got 22s now and to be honest, its not that great paying $650 for new tires. 20s are the perfect size for this muscle car.

I don't know about black 20s, but you get a smoked "midnight" silver if you order the RS package.

Dragon, thanks for posting, now, can we get bret03 to photoshop these babies?

im opting for the polished 20's on my rs/ss. i dont like the midnight silver as much as i do the polished. especially with black.

MEENGREENGTP 10-06-2008 04:02 AM

i dont like the 21"s they got too much goin on.. kinda too boy racer/tuner for my taste.. i want some 22" billet specialties wheels...
