put in the hurst shifter in the z today and it looks great and shifts great sorry no picks will try to post:happyanim: soon

hmmm i thought it came with a hurst from the factory....must be optional

I like the look of this over the Stock Plus they say 44% shorter throw

yes it is shorter

44% shorter throw than a SS Stock shifter?
or 44% shorter throw than a stock ZL1 shifter.?

Off hand I'd say the stock ZL1 shifter is about the same throw as my 2011 SS was with the optional Hurst short-throw shifter.

I have not heard of a confirmation that Hurst makes a short-throw shifter specifically for the ZL1.

ZL1 has its own short throw not a hurst. the SS can have a hurst that has a shunked head size shift knob ha ha.

I read soemthing to dow with oem hurst was 22% reduction aftermaket hurst was 44%.

I have not confirmed what the stock ZL1 shifter is compared to all of this.

I haver read a thread about a guy putting a ZL1 shifter in an SS wich leads me to belive the hurst and MGW for the SS may work on a ZL1.

on the corvettes and mustangs I like the MGW over the hurst but it cost more. have not driven a camaro MGW.
