I am going as well, rain or shine. I just got the call from my dealer. He said he has 7 slots out of the 99 total. We 7 are meeting at the dealership at 8:30 and camarovaning to IMS. I didn't know there is also lunch. Do you know how long this event lasts; when are we free to go?

Someone said something about lunch, but not sure about that. My dealer said we do the lap with the pace car and then they let us park our cars together so they can be admired and we can go about our business. Sounds like it could include a lot or a little. No one seems to know for sure based on the calls I made today.

Just got the painted engine cover back from the painter (again). They did much better this time.

Re-painted the rally yellow which didn't match when I got it from GM.
Painted the V8 inferno red.
Painted the raised Chevrolet lettering inferno red.
Tried to paint the rivets silver, but the painter did a sloppy job, so we scrapped that idea.
Clear coated the rally yellow base and red lettering (except the V8).

I added a brushed trim ring (from Emblem Pros) to the V8 on the front which looks really good.

Now I need to get my Showstopper's accessories and that engine bay will be looking sweet!
