Hey txturbo - how much for glossy black rally stripes?

Wow that really sucks. Flat black will look terrible on my Rally Yellow. Glossy would have looked amazing.

Edit: Can you also tell us how flush the stripes are with the car or does it look/feel like you have a giant sticker on?

That DOES suck. So what color paint will look best with flat black stripes?

I just called the dealer to cancel the stripes.

Honestly....i'm not sure any of them will look good. If I had to pick one I would say probably SIM but yikes....that is soo disappointing. All of the other stripes are glossy right?

Black and that's the silly thing - Chevrolet won't let you order flat black stripes on a black car. Anyone remember how popular the black 85-86 Mustang GT's were with the big flat black hood stripe?

I guess my next best option is painted stripes in Black Granite Metallic with a nice shiny clear coat over it. For now, I'll live with unadorned Victory Red for a while and then decide which direction to go...

I think I will be one of the few that like the flat color on silver...going to have them installed since the car is already built and on the way.

If I don't like them I'll have them removed...got to see what it looks like!!

Well, it's going to look quite a bit like this, except that it will be a bit wider and have a silver stripe up the middle.

Yeah see...that will look good on the SIM background and some color showing through like you just said...I like it so far...just got to see it installed.
