Dash Bubbling - anyone else?

The strip of dash just under the center vents has a bubble in it that seems to have formed over time (I know it wasn't that way a few months ago).

Anyone else have this?

I have been noticing the same thing on our 2012. Seems like the leather is coming unglued.

I will post some when the sun comes up and I can lower the top. It is very noticeable with the sun shining on the dash.

Here are pics of the bubbling issue that my 2012 is having. You can see the bubbles under the A/C vents.

I'd be high-tailing it down to my dealer to talk about that.

:word: Glad it's not an issue on our '10's-11's!

WOW.. Looks like they didn't test out that new 2012 interior in the Sun too well.

I can see this happening to all the new 2012's once it warms up.

The 2012's have a new dash its the leather that's bubbling. The 2010-2011's have plastic there.

I suspect this will become an issue on all 2012's as ours is garage kept and only has about 3000 miles on it. The ZL-1's will probably get it worse with the suede dash since that leather is more breathable.

I am waiting on the coveted top fix to take it in for both issues at the same time.

I'll be keeping an eye on my dash!

I'm aware :bellyroll: which is why I said I'm glad it's not an issue on earlier models-- since there is no leather there.... :iono:
