Well went out and bought a camera finally. Figured if I am going to be going on vacation I'll need a better camera than my phone. So to test it out I took some pics of Amber with all her current mods. Hope you enjoy this pics as much as I do. Ignore the stupid Ford F-150 in the background haha!

Well this sucks a week away from my first car show ever and one of my side gills goes missing. So I will have to remove all of them and it may be difficult since they are applied with 3M tape. I found a cheaper back up that I wont have to worry about them falling off since they are vinyl but I wont be able to get them on in time for the show :( Wahh.

Well my new gills came in yesterday and I put them on. They were a lot harder to put them on than the old ones. It was hard to keep then straight and lineup good. Some of them stretched from taking them off and putting them back on multiple times but I just cut them and overlapped them and you don't even know any difference. All in all I like them so far not bad for the price and they come in a bunch of different colors too. So here are some pictures:

Lately I've been thinking of ordering these again and installing them the right way now, glide them over where they are suppose to go. That way they will be more straight and line up better.

Were you using your exhaust hood from your stove top? That was how I had to do my spraying. Apartment living is the worst, I feel ya.

Yea that is how I did all my past painting but for the auto bezel I was able to actually do it outside. I've always had some trouble for some reason painting stuff so I am done lol. It is a huge pain.

Just order a bunch of stuff for my car :) Order some LED DRL, some RS logo valve stem covers, chrome speaker rings, orange vinyl overlays for my bowties, a ported throttle body that I plan to get powder coated orange, and a chrome cup holder bezel so I can do my illuminating cupholder, still just have to order the LEDs. My APEX scoop and w/w relocator should be here today too. Im really excited to get all this stuff and start adding it. Stay tuned later next week for when I finally start to get some of this stuff and get it on. My poor bank account now :(

Well all my "goodies" are in and over the weekend/week I will install them.

Well finally installed my APEX scoop and washer bottle. All I got say is oy veiy. From before jacking the car up and until the end it took me 3 hours. I had to use the lame jack that came with the spare. Other than jacking up the car everything was easy as far as taking apart everything. But I guess that is how everything is. I used a hex key to take off the screws on the wheel liner (idk what size sorry) Well once it came time to install the scoop that is where I ran into problems. I did not have a dremel to cut the plastic part. I had to you a razorblade and some hose cutters (idk exactly what those sharp plier things are called.) Well when I manage to do that I had a little trouble mounting the dam scoop. Once that was done next I attached the bottle. Had a little hard time reaching some of the bolts but I managed to get it attaced. Next I had to find a place to mount the opening. I didn't really want to drill into my roto-fab box but I had to choice. So I ended up attaching to the side right where the old washer bottle opening was. One thing I noticed is the first is that the car def responds better now.* But anyway here are some pictures of me doing the install. Enjoy. Also the scoop and washer bottle weighed 4lbs together (empty) while the stock bottle weighs 2lbs empty.

*The little rubber hose that allows the fluid to travel seems a little long now and is just dangling around in my roto-fab air box, gonna see if I can cut it a little to make it fit better.*

Congrats and nice job. I also got the scoop and ww relocation kit from Apex and getting ready for the install. I bought a black and decker electric jigsaw for cutting the plastic away. I'm most nervous about jacking up the car so I'm about to invest in a floor jack and jack stands.

Thanks. You will def have an easier time than I did. Good luck hope the install goes smoothly.

Well today I did a couple of mods. I put on my RS valve stem caps, my chrome speaker rings and put in my chrome cup holder. For the cup holder I still need to order some LEDs so I can make it light up. I was also going to install my LED DRLs but when I went to do the driver side my APEX washer bottle was right behind it and there was no room for me to remove the old bulb to put in the new one so I didn't install that. But here are some pics of the mods I did today. Now I also wanna see how my footwells will reflect off the chrome speaker rings I bet it will look pretty cool. I also still have to install my orange bowtie overlays.

In other news I got an estimate to get my throttle body powder coated orange, $45, I dont think that is too bad. My only question is though that the guy told me that I would have to remove any gaskets or anything because they won't be able to withstand the heat and that got my thinking. Do I gotta remove the black part of the throttle body that holds all the gears and stuff too?

Edit: Talked to Rx Performance and they can paint my throttle body orange for $65. I know it is $20 more but I would trust them more than the other place plus I can just get the metal part painted orange and leave the black part black to have some really nice contrast. Stayed tuned. Also does anyone know the size of the bolts that go on the v6 throttle body? I wanna replace the stock ones with black ones.
