Well it was dark when I got home so actual pics will have to wait until morning, but they started on building our garage today. Woooo Hoooo! :happyanim: Until then, Here are a couple of before pocs. One of our Camaros sitting where the garage will be and a couple of them under the current carport which will be home to the Yukon & Crossfire.

I hope so too! Are you going to be at the Music City Camaro Club's Spring Fling? It is going to be fun. How about C5 Fest? :chevy:

Okay here are pics from day 1. Not much progress but it is started. And..........caution tape warns construction guys, no short cuts through the carport! Got to protect those babies. More was done today but again there will be a delay in pics since it was dark-thirty when I got home. :chevy:

Aren't building projects FUN?!?! I keep telling myself that!

It will certainly be a nice home for that pair!!

One bit of advice. Make sure you build the site up high enough.
My Grandpa told me once to "get your site to grade..........then add another foot of fill."
I think too many times, people don't pay attention to this, and end up with issues that could have been avoided.

You may want to lurk around on.....

Lots of good people & advice over there.

Going to C5Fest, but can't make the Spring Fling Thing. But, thanks for the invites you've been sending. But, I am hoping to make the MIR Super Chevy Day in April.

Well, no progress today, it rained all day, very hard rain, and it is still raining. Here is a pic of yesterday's progress taken just after dawn this morning & just before the rain started.

Thanks. Yeah, I think our guy is building up the site pretty well. We were surprised how high he is building it up.
