SF Bay Area members who are buying a camaro for sure...

Please make a post here so I can compile a list of buyers. I want to see if I can set up a deal with a local dealer for either fleet pricing or a group buy. I want to go up to them and say
"Hey, I have 7 people who said they will guarantee they will buy if you can sell them one at MSRP or below. What can you do for us?"

Also, if you live close to mid peninsula and are interested in the next IDL, I might be able to get access for a person or two.

I'm in! No mark-up for me either though... it also depends on when you are trying to do this group purchase... i plan on waiting for the models with HUD, which might mean not until Dec. :(

Well I'm going back and forth with the dealer about setting up group pricing, but just whoever is on a list. Say we agree at a price like $200 below MSRP for whatever model/options you choose. Anyone on said list would go in, order their car and pay 200 below what MSRP for that model/options are at the time of purchase. I'm waiting for the convertible, so it would be from day 1 until everyone on the list has purchased. I'm sure you'd have a certain time window to buy from, but it would be a long time so people can wait for the verts or HUD models, etc. I will keep you guys updated.

I'm going to talk with him over the phone tomorrow so I'll be able to give you guys more information then.
