Ordered my aqua blue 2LT this week

I am very excited. This will be the second Camaro I have owned. My first was a 68 SS convertible with a 350.

I am new to the forums and I keep reading varying stories about wait times. What kind of experiences have you guys had?

Ordered mine May 2nd and received yesterday, June 26th but mine was from dealers original allocation. My dealer said that since they are out of allocation and someone ordered today, it would likely be Sept/Oct before you would get it. It also depends on dealer, etc. etc

So how is it? Is it as beautiful as I think?

hey fellow Mechanicsviller...where did you end up ordering your car? have you seen one in Hanover anywhere yet?

best of luck with your order too!

Hey to you fellow 'ville resident. I saw a black one with a sunroof headed toward Millers tavern on 360.

I ordered mine from Luck Chevrolet in Ashland. So far they have treated me very well. Ask for Ralph Paulette, he is the Camaro guy there.

It looks better than the pictures and everyone who has seen it agrees. You won't be disappointed. I'm very happy with the color and the car. I got the black interior and 2LT with automatic and a spare tire. That's all I need. I think gray interior would look great too. It's the most striking car I've ever owned and although I had some doubts about the color being too light before I saw it in person, I don't have any regrets now. I made the right choice for me.;)

I live just a few minutes from Luck. Went up there last weekend to see if they had one on the lot... no such luck... :(
I'm assuming it was MSRP with them?

fonsecam 06-27-2009 11:08 PM

Yes it is MSRP. On Monday they just happened to get in an aqua blue metallic LS that someone had ordered, so at least I have seen one. I think everything they are getting right now is spoken for.

I went up to the mini show on 301 Sat nite (Brunetti's across from Rutland)...finally saw one in person. a gentleman had a 2SS/RS, 6M, Victory Red, with Orange Black interior and polished wheels.

It was nearly dark, so I couldn't tell how well that color combo went. The ambient lighting was cool, as were the halos. What surprised me was how quiet the car was when he fired it up. Only when he mashed the pedal did you get some rumble from the exhaust.

He bought the car in GA, and had it drop shipped to Dominion. It only had 101 miles on it, and I wistfully watched him drive off as the rest of the cars started leaving....

Also saw another Challenger there too; starting to see more and more of these cars on the road in our area.

You won't regret ordering this color..as of May on 2% of the first 12,000 orders were ABM. Pictures can't do it justice. If you want some ideas about the color , check out the ABM thread under the photos section..

fonsecam 07-06-2009 06:46 PM

I am very glad that I picked a color that isn't going to be the same as every other Camaro on the road. Also, I'm hoping it's awhile before theCamaro gets to be as commonplace as the Mustang.

I got a chance to test drive a silver Camaro LT yesterday thanks to the guys at Luck Chevrolet. The ride was as cool as I thought it would be. Now I really can't wait for my ABM Camaro to arrive!
