Convertible Suspension Suggestions
 

Ok after this weekends 700 mile trip I think I realized I need some suspension upgrades. When I hit a good sized bump in the road the car wanted to drift left and or right. I am thinking an upgraded sway bar would help. I have an SS convertible, what would you suggest without going to overboard. Thanks!

I have Hotchkis 1" lowering springs, Pfadt competition ZL spec adjustable sways and rear upper control arm bushings, Prothane poly cradle bushings and front control arm inserts, Spohn trailing arms and toelinks. Car handles great and rides good except for uneven or bad roads. I would do springs and sways to start. Call and talk to Tyler or Jordan at JDP Motorsports. They will set you on the right course.

I would suggest an FE4 upgrade in the rear, with the SB037 sway bar kit. Not sure that it would help your "drifting" problem (that sounds like an alignment issue to me). But sway bars are the best suspension upgrade you can do for the money, and definitely a good start to the infinite world of suspension mods. Please let me know if I can help you out.

Sway bars, a good set of springs and a good alignment should take care of your issues and make the car feel much more stable. I would definitely upgrade to the FE4/outboard style suspension. You already have the updated lower control arms so it's just a matter of getting the bars and some FE4 style rear endlinks.
