What's the Best Crapper?

I'm looking to buy a new toilet for my house. Looking for any info anyone has to offer on good brands/features or brands/features to steer clear of. Thanks in advance!:character0109:

WTF toilets have "features"? All mine does is flush when I pull the lever down.

Check out Kohler. I remodeled about 7 years ago and haven't had a single problem with the products.

I'd just go to home depot and try them all out, like you would if you were sofa shopping at Lazy Boy or Rooms to Go.

I wish I could give a serious answer. So here's my go at it. I did a jailbreak on my shower head, can't stand the low flow stuff. I have a time with low flow toilets, end up flushing them 3 or 4 times per use, not sure how much water that saves. I understand some companies have attempted to make improvements. But my thought was if I need new toilet to buy or scrounge some out of an older building to get some good quality cans that actually work. But hey.

I'm embarrassed for the planet that this exists. If I literally had Bill Gates fortune I wouldn't buy this. I mean, I might have a gold toilet, but it would still be just a damn toilet.

on a serious note....Kohler makes great toilets as well as Toto.
Stay away from the box stores, their products may look the same, but if you look at the specs and part numbers they are different. The internals are sometimes different.

A good plumbing showroom will guide you in the right direction.

Well this is my business. It depends on your price point, but for a high quality medium priced crapper you can't go wrong with an American Standard Champion series. It's one of the best if not the best flushing crappers out there of it's kind. I like the elongated bowl chair height models the best, but they make them in round bowl standard height too. If you have small kid you may want to stick with the standard height.
