Fatal accident involving Camaro on Georgia Ave. (Mo. County)
Looks pretty bad. Condolences to the victims and their families. The camaro looks like a LT/RS or SS. Story is still developing. http://www.wjla.com/articles/2013/06...nt--89893.html

That type of accident, makes me think someone was speeding.
Such a shame. |
It's a SS camaro for sure. Doesn't look like a RS package. I'm almost certain I've met the owner before because the accident took place less than 10minutes from my house and I have seen that car before at the burtonsville Sunday meets. I think he was at the hunt valley horsepower meet too. Ill look though the pics I have to compare it to what the news is releasing.

From the story on WUSA 9 it seems the Camaro was racing a VW and the Sentra turned into the path. What a mess.....
|
From the looks of it the sentra took a serious blow (pics show the sentra in pieces). It's sad to see someone from the local area have this happen.

Wow I take that road all the time going to/from work. I missed the accident by a couple hours but when I was heading home, the rain was pounding the area. Guess now I have to drive even more prim and proper around GA.

Not good, for victims or Camaro rep. A 4 yr old killed.... take it off the streets. Can not tell me you can't find a track. Really, was that worth it? Sorry for rant but there are places that can let you run as fast as you wish...without endangering anyone else....

The report said the backseat was on top of the child's car seat.
What a terrible accident! Thoughts and prayers to the victims, families and first responders! I certainly hope there was no racing, the Camaro driver also died. Just tragic! |

Very unfortunate. Prayers to all involved. I don't believe this Camaro ever came to the Burtonsville meets btw.
