Are those red stripes on the black camaro?
Not to worry...All Camaros in this event are Dealer Cars....Not Sold units...All were V-6...Chevrolet Marketing has been planning this Media Event for months....
Wow, I would have loved to see that.
Camaro Windshield decal was brought in from Chevrolet Region Office...Can be made anywhere..
Very Nice! I like the variety of colors better than the sea of IOM, even though that's what I ordered!
Those are Red Painted Stripes on the Black Camaro..GM does not offer Red Rally's..

You now have a Rainbow...Another Camaro5 Member came to the event...Had him Pull his Vette Front and Center...Can anybody guess who ???
Were those beauties able to keep their baby blankets?
Sadly I gotta go with the choire and say that while this is awesomly cool...why this instead of giving 40 guys their Camaro's?
Yes, The Blankets went home with each Camaro...
Marketing 101....40 plus Camaro's rolling thru Houston and parking outside Minute Maid Park for an Astro's Game...I say that's Genius...I would say over 100,000 people will have seen the rainbow train of Camaros driving around Houston...Plus the Media was there for TV and Newspaper coverage...Houston was the largest in 4th Gen F-Body sales in the nation...I say again " GENIUS "

Story & Photos from the Houston Parade today!
http://i466.photobucket.com/albums/r...e/IMG_1769.jpg
May 7, 2009 High noon in Texas. Blistering 94F temperatures on the tarmac. Humidity levels high enough to make the Devil himself stay indoors. The only thing missing were tumbleweeds blowing across the road. When the dust settled, there was the new Camaro. Or, should I say CamaroS, since I counted off about 50 of the new cars in attendance. The variety of colors consisted of yellow, red, silver and black. All of these Camaros were the 3.6L V6 models, but appearance-wise they still send out the same message to onlookers. "This car is a badass, and you know you want one." The Houston area Chevrolet dealers all combined efforts to orchestrate this huge gathering of fresh sheetmetal, to help create some buzz in the area about the Camaro's arrival on the scene. Imagine 50 of these cars, with police escorts, rolling down the freeway in parade fashion. The herd left promptly at 2:00 pm, and headed out for a 45 minute cruise to the home of the Houston Astros, our stadium known as Minute Maid Park. At that point, the Camaros united with several classic Camaros, to partake in an evening Astros game. Baseball and Camaros, it doesn't get any more American than that. Our combined staff at PlanetLSX.com and 5thGen.org would like to thank the GM media and marketing staff for their hospitality and showing us an impressive scene. We enthusiasts are all glad to see our favorite musclecars hit the road with such a huge visual impact like this this. Source and More Photos: Planet LSX Magazine |

http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showpo...2&postcount=31 It was so worth skipping out on 4 hours of work today just to go see this. May regret the sunburn tomorrow but it was so worth it. |
