NON Mylink Owners

Just took the SS into the dealer this morning for a look at by a guy who bought a ZL1 and is considering trading me. He is afraid of the car, however while I was there the service writer came out and looked at the trim around my radio. He said they have a bulletin if it is wrinkled/sagging then they have a new part. Mine is starting to a little bit never even noticed but he pointed it out and they are ordering the revised part for me. Just a heads up for you guys.

Sorry Guys I read the link here it is http://sandyblogs.com/techlink/ he said to read the March edition.

this is for non MyLink - I called him back he lives in my neighborhood and pointed this out. I also went back out and looked at mine since I read the article and mine is a MyLink mine does have a dip in the trim and it is hard plastic so I guess I will be good since he is ordering me a new one that I did not even know I needed.

Bonus found a website to read some interesting things the techs get now

OH and another thing he told me to tell my buddy who installed LEDs in his car to tell him if he had any DTCs to remove the lights before he brought it in. Another bulletin they got evidently.

I might possess things that are sagging but they are not part of my Camaro?

OK he sent me pics arrrgh now I got to figure out how to put them up. The radio though in the pic looks like it is not a MyLink.

He lives in my neighborhood going to see if I can get him to just send me the link to them

Link he sent http://sandyblogs.com/techlink/ Said to read current issue and March issue

Thanks for the link. I've read some of these in classes I've taken, but now I can catch up on a couple of vehicles.

Mine is bubbling too... I just have to make the time to take it in... and this has been discussed in length here. It took a while but they finally issued a TSB.

He is talking about the soft material pad above the radio. It has mostly been referred to as "bubbling" on this forum, while apparently GM is calling it sagging. According to the tech article there is a redesigned replacement part that resolves this issue.

There's already a TSB for this issue though? :iono: still a bit lost I guess.

He was telling us that his mechanic noticed the bubbling and recommended a replacement. OP was giving us a link to the GM tech blog talking about this issue and that a replacement part was warranted for the issue. OP was just sharing info in case others have the same bubbling problem.
