Flowmaster 40 series delta

Hey everyone I was just seeing if anyone had any experience with this muffler. I'm lookin for a little louder nothing crazy just a nice deep growl. I'd rather not do anything crazy for expensive thanks guys

Just do a muffler delete.
Cheap and it sounds great!

Got 40's on my '57. They sound great, deep and fairly loud.

Yea just a muffler delete is going to be bad raspy. Some people have had some rasp with the flowmasters, bit just put a magnaflow resonated x pipe and you should be fine

i've had both a muffler delete and the flowmaster 40 series deltas. originally i got some bad advice about getting a muffler delete too. it sounds fantastic at idle but the second you give it any gas it sounds terrible. i put on the flowmasters since i had already gotten rid of the stock mufflers. they are louder than stock and nowhere near as horrible as muffler delete. at first i thought they sounded funny and my wife used to complain about the noise in the cabin but they've grown on me and my wife has gotten used to the sound. overall i'd say i'm happy with them but occasionally wonder if there's something better out there. thinking about trying to add the resonated x-pipe and see how it works.

Well, at least the muffler delete is cheap and satisfies most peoples taste for something more than stock.
