Cruise around Charlotte Motor Speedway with 5th Gen Camaros of Carolinas
 

The 5th Gen Camaros of Carolinas car club got the chance to make a few laps around the Charlotte Motor Speedway this evening before the Legends race.

So cool! I had my Dad take the video, so I apologize for the shakiness/his fat thumb lol. To his credit though I was jumping on it pretty good and he was getting thrown all about.

Rules were stay off the banks and don't go over 65. They didn't last too long.

Very cool. I have been the Charlotte motor speed way a few times but never like that.

I hope you get the chance. So much fun. Those turns are crazy steep.

On Black Friday every year, if you donate $25 they let you take 3 laps around the speedway, pretty much as fast as you feel comfortable.

They have a 70 mph pace car, but you can fall back pretty far and then gun it ;) I hit 130 at one point before backing down :)

Oh i would love to do that. How difficult is to drive a stock car?

It's not that hard at all, if you take the paid tour of the speedway the guides driving the Ford Touring Vans go nearly 80 mph fairly easily lol.

Last Black Friday there was a Vette, Charger R/T, a minivan and a Jetta in my group. All hauling ass.

A minivan! Haha! Hope they stayed off the embankments. Damn thing might tip over.
