4th gen guys, need a little help!

Wife drove her Synergy green RS to get it inspected, the same place i take my car to because they understand modding!!!!!!

Anyway, she called me at work and was excited about this Z28 4th gen she saw. Single owner car. Apparently owned by an elderly couple and it was garaged its whole life. Guy bought it for his wife and she did not drive it too much. They have a 17 year old grand son who is licking his chops and they did not think the car should be driven by him.

Let me know what you think! Thanks

Pretty rare color and low miles to boot. But that price is crazy. It's maybe a 8k car not 11k. It's only a Z, not an SS (which u couldn't get in that color anyways). Also it's a 98. The heads and intake are not as good as the 2000-2002's. I would never pay that much but I'm sure someone would. Very nice car if u can get it cheaper.

Nice car and rare color but I agree, the price is about 3k too high even considering mileage.

Just drove it. The pics dont come anywhere near how the car looks. Its pretty much a brand new car off the show room floor. Never seen a car this clean.

Were gonna offer 8 and see where it goes.

Do not, i repeat, do not let that kid get that car. It is way too beautiful to have some kid who doesn't know what he's doing drive that car

But don't over pay for it... Please. It's a nice car but it's not 11k nice

Like i said, the photos or videos dont compare to how this car looks. It looks like it drove off the show room floor 15 years ago. Shut the doors and you get that solid door closing noise from a European car. Engine bay is immaculate!

We got if for $9500 bucks plus they pay the taxes which is 8.5% here in Tx.

I will go tomorrow and put it up on their lift and take a look underneath. I know the car can be detailed, but rarely do they do the whole underside. I'll see what i looks like under there. This car may not have been great price wise for a 98 Z but i know about cars and this is a rare find for a car that has been stored in a garage and driven very rarely. It had the original window sticker and listed for 26k. It really felt like driving a brand new car off the lot 15 years ago.

Hey as long as your happy! it is a beautiful car. I just know i over paid for my SS because it was very nice, garage kept. Now i really regret it as i could have waited and found one for much cheaper. My friend is selling a sunset orange Z right now and im alittle tempted to let go of mine and pick his up but i doubt i will. Nice car tho, i love the color!

I think you paid a fair price. As long as you're happy that's all that matters.

Haha I know :) I just can't talk myself into going from a 60k mile SS to a 100k mile Z. It's a downgrade but idk id have alot more mod money haha.

The color and mileage make it worth the price. That being said, I wouldn't buy it because it's a 98, hardtop, and automatic. 98's have different heads, ecu, and fuel tank. If you want that color, it would have to be a 98. Some people may think auto and hardtop is a good thing. $9500 OTD was very fair.

My wife is the one that fell in love with it. I went and checked it out. There was no way i was gonna let this find go. Its damn near getting a brand new car for 9500 bucks. Heads are an easy fix.....what's the issue with them anyway?
