ZL1 or Z/28 belly pan on a 2013 1LE
Has anyone installed the ZL1 underbelly pan or the Z/28 one?
Which one would fit/work better on a 2013 1LE? http://www.gen5diy.com/exterior/ZL1/zl1-belly-pan |
I have considered looking into this as well. There was a similar discussion in the Z/28 section on the forum.

I just got the Z/28 belly pan delivered. Hopefully I will put it on over the weekend. I do have a '14 1LE, though, not '13.

Subscribed. Much to learn on the subject of high performance bellies :smiling1:

I'd like to know also.

My $.02....Thought about a belly pan....but not until I get a vented hood to go with it....The belly pan helps draw out heat and add downforce to the front....Part of a "system"....I think without hood vents, the engine heat is drawn out underneath the car...so a belly pan by itself may not be any benefit...
Interesting topic....but a little hazy to me.... |

NICE
Very cool!!! Any special notes you would like to share??? Do you think this will work on a 10 thru 13???

I'm also thinking there was a reason the engineers left the belly pans off of our cars. Whether it was cooling or another reason. Does anyone know if the Z/28 pan will fit a 2013 1LE?
