The test drive was WAY too short. Only time to check out a couple of things. We closed the windows and turned off the radio - it was very quiet inside. Acceleration was very smooth for an automatic - didn't try the paddle shifters. Driver's seating position was good and surprising room in the back. My wife was in the passenger seat (she is 5' 8") and she had plenty of leg room as did our salesman seated behind her. The RS rims look awesome, as did the halos. Loved seeing the mph in the DIC. Can't wait to play thru all the options there.

Hey everyone, I have been lurking for awhile, finally decided to post.
If you are in northern CO and looking to drive one, DAVIDSON-GEBHARDT has a yellow 2lt as a demo. They seemed like pretty good guys, they are selling at MSRP. After I drove the one they had I went over to Champion, they had the same car (not sold yet) and wanted $10k over. After that headed to Ghent, they have a black 1lt that was sold, they were also asking $10k over.

At Champion the sales manager came over and said it was a "fair price", but they might knock a little off. I told him it wasn't that hard to find one at or under MSRP. His response was "whoever is selling for that must be doing pretty bad". I told him that not all dealers are trying to screw their customers and left.

Parker Checking In

A rally would be nice. Keep me posted. I have my order through MedVed in Castle Rock. Ordered it on Oct 13th.

How are people finding out their VIN numbers and order position/status? I would love to track mine.

Thanks,
CmB

Hi all..Talked to many dealers in the Denver area over the last month and for those still looking, here is what I got from them:

Mike Shaw - MSRP +3.5K with 1K deposit
Burt - MSRP + Undisclosed amount (seemed surprised anyone would sell at MSRP!)
Len Lyall - MSRP, but 15 orders already placed
Ed Bozarth (Havana) - MSRP with 5K deposit
Stevinson - MSRP with 1K deposit (would have been third in line)
GO - Depends on who you talk to. Internet manager said MSRP + 5K, Fleet Manager sold to me for MSRP with $500 deposit (my allocation should be 5/7)
Century - Too long to get an allocation
Fischer - Too long to get an allocation

From my discussions, I would recommend either Hadyn Roberts at Stevinson Chevy or Rich Anson at GO Chevy (others at GO Chevy have seemed shady).

Everytime I 've talked to folks at Mike Shaw Chevy (including for my Tahoe previously), I felt I needed a shower afterwards. Can't say I'd ever recommend them.

Medved(West) and Century said they sent me quotes, but I didn't actually receive anything.

Anyway..looking forward to getting mine in a couple of months (hopefully!) and I've been enjoying reading all of the threads! Rob

Don't forget Emich (Karl Ritz). They may have already pre-sold their initial allocation, but they are selling them at MSRP. It will be interesting to see what they do with their 'dealer' car. I will try to get a feel for that at their unveiling party tomorrow night.

Congrats bud! It's so strange how these codes are going. I hit 3000 on April 23rd but haven't moved yet. You hit it on May 5th and jumped to 3300 on the 6th.... who know's what's going on :iono:
