VIN 709 SHIPPED

Talked to my dealer this evening car is produced, AND dealer says it is shipped???? I asked to confirm and he insisted that is is built and shipped. Anyone else from Canada had the same news? I won't get too excited until there is more confirmation of other cars being shipped.

Canadian cars aren't in the list because GM.ca has increased requirements over their US counterparts.

I hope this is bad info but... I was sorting out my welcome kit problems on the phone and a VIP at GM told me that they will not release any cars before May 6th, even presold orders...and the dealer can keep them for 30 days before turning them over. I hope this is not true.:scared0016:

I've been told a very similar story from my GM Canada CSR... that they will not be shipped to dealers before a particular date (the date was unknown to them at the time).

Still waiting...no sign of the Camaro yet. I will try and get an update from my dealer on Monday. Hopefully whoever gets their car first will post so at least we know that the cars are arriving. I'm in Alberta so I think we'll see some cars before vin 701 arriving.

Almost there...

Did you drive by and spy on your dealer? GM is not gonna pay truckers to sit around with trucks full of Camaro's that's for sure. Pretend your shopping and ask to look at there makeready dept but you just want to buy a truck (lie so they won't hid the camaro). lol
