Traction Light On

So this problem started appearing today, when I turn my car on and start driving for like 5 mins, the traction light turns on automatically and stays on..what could be the problem?

Is this the TC light with the slash through it? You may have turned Traction Control off. You should have a button to turn it back on. Please let me know.
