Poor PQ... waiting for those pictures to show up...

I got some on my arms and my face, that darn helmet kept wiping off my sunblock!

I loved finally seeing your car in person... Great color combination.

I got a pretty good burn on my forehead and the back of my neck. And I live in Phoenix so it's a double shame for not knowing better. I brought SPF 50 but left it in the car on the first day :(

WCoolBreeze 04-18-2011 10:52 AM

Well I know my face, arms, and neck got a little burnt. Also it felt alot hotter then I am use to, and I am from El Centro/Imperial, CA. I should have had my fold up chair that has a built in sun shade on it.

I got fried polishing on lots of your Camaro's, but it was all worth it to see all the smiles when the scratches were all gone.

PoorMansCamaro 04-18-2011 12:35 PM

My forehead feels like leather.

bigsquirrel 04-18-2011 12:44 PM

I'm burnt under my hair, didn't know that was possible, and on my ears and cheeks. I think that taking my hnelmet on and off for the drags was rubbing my block off.

I saw him at the parking lot, and sid, "I just absolutely have to get a picture of that face"
I'm still at my parents, but I will upload and post all my pictures from the fest tonight. Including Randy's face.

I talked to PQ yesterday while he was driving, he said his forhead was cracked open and bleeding.

YUCK. How about no desert in the future.

I got burned pretty good too...I had sunblock on too and it didn't matter. I'd take a picture, but it's turning into a tan now. I still feel nauseous too from the dehydration and sun poisoning. We actually left the raceway Saturday at like 3:30-4pm and jumped in the pool back at the hotel. That felt amazing!

Atti2de 04-18-2011 01:50 PM

pft...i work outside in texas, no burn here... :)

Ravirn 04-18-2011 01:54 PM
I only got sunburnt on my lips. I did tho get sun poisoning and dehydrated... Still feel sick as a dog.
Seems to be holding true so far from the responses I've read. Forgot mention I used to take naps on my pool deck during 120 degree days on my pool deck when I owned a house in Scottsdale, no burns from that either.

I feel like toast! Was wearing a jersey so I'm now two tone, light brown and red. If I took a picture I think the flash would make my burns hurt worse.

halo8hkk 04-18-2011 02:38 PM

I got burned good on my neck. But it was well worth it.

VR Baron 04-18-2011 02:57 PM

I had sps50 on several times on Friday and still got burned. Wide brim hat went on for Sat.But I do burn up easily!

Nomad 04-18-2011 03:26 PM

I had SPF 50 on everywhere except the back of my neck! Now I fit in better here. :sm0:

Chevyg1rl 04-18-2011 05:44 PM

I got a little burn, it was pretty much gone the next day since I soaked in moisturizer that night. I think my lips will take a week to recover tho, there was no fixin them.

Yes, let's not park on the sun again.

DGthe3 04-18-2011 05:46 PM

My ears got burned pretty bad when I was out and about on Thursday, the rest of my face not as bad.

KILLER74Z28 04-18-2011 06:05 PM

None here, well, I did miss a small spot on my arm near my watch but other than that the SPF 30 worked great. ;)

2SSRS@Gen5diy 04-18-2011 06:08 PM

Its hard for me to get Sunburned at that low a temp. LOL

ZZTOM 04-18-2011 06:15 PM

I've had to many bad ones in my life so protection and avoiding the sun. As for PQ I thought he was glowing! For a place that gets in the 100's plus I was surprised how little shade the track provides.

TripleB 04-18-2011 06:17 PM

i usually don't burn. went to hawaii on vacation a couple of years ago and didn't put sunscreen on and after like 2 days i looked like a local i was so brown from my tan. i used to live in el paso, texas too and never really burned there. for whatever reason though, i burned this weekend...with sunscreen on.
