K&N CAI
K&N has their CAI out for the 2017 ZL1. Pretty pricey, but the tube is carbon fiber and I don't see the dip in torque like there is with the Rotofab.

I may just return this rotofab then >_>

You say you don't see the dip in TQ as you do in the Roto Fab. Will you post the shop that did the comparison on the CAI? Thanks. |

Dyno sheets, especially from manufacturers are always going to be a little...ahem...generous where it needs to be.
Just my findings over the years... |
It looks neat but...list price of $1200 and sale price of $661.99?? No way man. Plus looking at the heat shield, I'm not sure it'll block off engine bay heat as good as the Roto-Fab. I would be tempted to try it if the price came down to somewhere around $300. I'm not really a fan of K&N and I don't think their products are quality like RF, Airaid, CAI, and other top brands. So I def wouldn't pay as much for it.

Exactly... Roto Fab posted nothing about in house numbers. They sent their CAI and then posted vendors results. |

Our system will be tough to compete with in real world test comparisons! |

With a blower car especially, you could be all over the map. I wasn't pointing fingers or burning bridges, but a cold air kit looks great, makes a great induction noise, etc. If you see a few HP, you're in good shape. I'm getting a CAI, and am not too familiar with Roto-Fab, but I have never been really keen on K&N. |
Do the cold air kits give these cars a louder blower whine? That's all I wanna know.

Let's see the non carbon fiber option. $700 is ridiculous for a cold air intake. These things were $150-$300 all day in my 03 Cobra days.
