My list for my 2000 SS
Lack of room in the engine bay is my #1
Crappy window seals for the doors is my #2
The door hinges being so difficult to replace and fixing a sagging door is my #3
The shitty dash pad is my #4
Window motors is my #5 also
Is dislike the hump on the passenger side also, but for the 98-02 it was there for the y-pipe cause the cats are right up near the firewall in the engine bay.

But like you, I love my car and am much happier to have something that is paid off and still a very enjoyable car.

Pretty much the same list. LOL......Seems to be the con-census about these cars. I love mine though. Always wanted the SS because of that dang hood!!

2. engine room what a basturd lol
3. window seals.
4. no one around works on lt1 upgrades around here
5. though a nice car I don't think its appreciated enough at car shows :)

LOL....I concur with a lot of that.........Paint on mine is good though. But I have taken real good care of it. But have heard stories like, yours

The hump on the passenger side complaint is pretty much the same for the 3rd Gen owners.

Stupid hump lol

2. Changing front bulbs

4. Wind noise


On LT1 - OPTISPARK!!!

Don't have wind noise. Exhaust takes care of that...LOL

1. Front fender tabs!!! You must be mindful of them when you jack up the car.
2. Mysterious "Birthing" dents on the rear quarters that can happen from racing or very rough, jarring roads.
3. Random poor paint quality in the roof, spoilers etc.

One hell of a car otherwise!!
