Moving Fuse Box to Trunk

I will be taking this project on next weekend and was curious if anyone has done this yet and if so any tips?

I plan to provide photos and possibly a DIY as I was not able to find one anywhere on the forum or web. I don't believe it will be difficult, just time consuming to extend wiring.

Why?

There is already a fuse box in the trunk. There is also one inside the cabin on the driver's side. fwiw

Because it really cleans up the engine bay. Make a DIY so we can see how it goes.

Why? That would take so much time and energy!!! You would have to gut the interior carpet and seats to run the huge bundle of wires to the rear. Impossible project.

You are just adding unnecessary weight with all those wires.

don't know why someone would do this, but go for it ,i want to see this.

ADM has done this a few times already. Not saying this guy can do it but it has been done.

It's just so much trouble for a tiny reward.

I'm almost certain no shop/company has relocated the 5th gen fuse box.

Several have actually.

Those asking "why" just don't get it I suppose.
Same reasons some redo the wiring in the engine bay to hide all the ugly rats nest.

Why for me is to clean up the engine bay, the less under the hood the better. I rather open my hood and see motor not wires and covers.

End result hope to be like so:

I'd rather lift my trunk carpet and see a jack and spare tire instead of a battery and fuse box.
