Black ZL1 rims For Sale

10 Attachment(s)
Just got my Z and and putting on the rims from my ss. They are flawless, except for a ding put on by the transport company taking it off the truck. There is a claim filed so it will be replaced or repaired, so I guess this is a feeler thread till it's resolved. The wheels have 3401 miles on them. I took pictures of the damage just so it can be seen. hard to notice when on the car. Luckily I had three people checking it over when delivered, because I missed it. Will be looking for 5000

Good price, leave it around there. These are worth it and somebody will pay it.

I'm so glad I bought my set when the car first came out. These are the best wheels for any 5th gen. That wheel is beat up man. That's a curb or ya.

The wheel is either to be replaced or repaired by the transport company that damaged it. Was showing it to be up front. Even if it stayed curbed there is no way in hell I would sell the wheels and tires for 3000. I've seen sets go for 5K, if somebody wants to make a resonable offer That's fine.

If I were you no less than 4500!

cam99 05-11-2013 06:41 AM

Thanks guys. My dealer looked up the replacement cost (front rim) and it was $1106.

Abrahams11SS 05-11-2013 09:36 AM

I bought my set so I know what they cost. And his price is the same as buyer from a dealer and paying retail. Which everyone should know is retarded. I also worked in parts before and know everything is marked up. I was priced 745 a wheel by my dealer. But if you want real ZL1 wheels its gonna cost you 4k at least. 1500 to replace the tires. And 200 for sensors. So 5k isn't true lily a bad deal

Ouch. Although I can relate when I priced the tires on my SS with the 21" gm wheels. $500 a tire. WTF

While I agree on the replicas I have a set of LG's on order they are cheaper in price but you still cannot beat OEM. I came across a great deal from a forum member $2800 shipped for a set of
black 10-spoke ZL1 wheels and tires in great shape today.

It's all about supply and demand I have been looking since late January for a set I have 5 deals fall through looks like the 6th is a charm.

In the end the seller will get his $5k I see no issues with his price, I would not pay but someone will.

cam99 05-12-2013 08:25 PM

OK, so let me see. 3120 for rims, 1440 for the supercar tires from tirerack, 280 for tpm sensors. that comes to 4840. thats before any tax or shipping, tire mounting, etc. There will be more than 5K in the wheels even getting them the "cheap" way. So someone makes an offer of less than 5K on an oem set with 3000 miles on them and gets them. What the hell is the problem with that? I'm baffled?

EDIT: and I don't honestly get what makes a set of chinese non forged wheels better than a set of oem forged gm wheels. Cheaper, absolutely. Better. No chance
