Unlock Feedback Lights

Most of the time, when I use the remote to unlock, the tail lights and amber turn signal lights will flash. Other times, the side markers, back up lights and HID's will also come on. Not really any consisency as to what set of lights will come on, day or night. So, when using the remote to unlock, which lights should come on and what is the possible fix for my problem?

Mine does that too. Sometimes the headlights will come on when I unlock it, sometimes they wont. The car has a mind of it's own!

... I seem to get the flashing lights during the day, but "vehicle locator" lights at night.

I've noticed the same thing, sometimes at night the headlights come on with an unlock, sometimes they don't. I can never 'make' them come on at night unless they decided they wanted to with the first unlock press.

This is because the sensor is calling for headlights in the dusk hrs.
You can turn the locator lights on or off, just hit the config. button on the radio and go into the munu's.

For sure the headlights wouldn't come on during the day for an 'unlock' press. BUT they do not always come on by pressing unlock at night time. Sometimes they do, sometimes they don't. Why? No clue, I think this is what the thread is trying to figure out.

There was another thread on this very subject somewhere before, but haven't seen it in a while. My car does this too, strange. I also sometimes get horn feedback on the first lock press. No doors or trunk open.
