MPG!!
Any sure number what were getting here?
27 City? Hope Soo Bunch of websites if have read are saying 18 City. But those were websites that posted about the Camaro during the Summer So what is it 27 for sure? |
27 "for sure" should be the mpg for the V6 on the highway. That is what GM is saying,
|
No i don't think it gets 19, I say its about 22 in the city and 27 highway.
|
^ I remember them going for 19/27, which makes sense looking at CTS's mpg, but it looks like it will be more around 18/27. We will see.....

The new testing numbers are too conservative. They lowered just about everything. Some of the new MPG numbers are just wrong (on the govts site).

i have no doubts that if driven right and all variables kept in check, the V6 camaro could get 19/27 or 18/26 |
Driving with a light foot, I can get 17mpg city with my LT1 V8 automatic. Hope the V6 can do better than 1 more mpg than that.

If you drive in dense city conditions and flog it constantly, the extra weight will make a significant difference. If you drive in more normal conditions and do some minor anticipative driving (not accelerating all the way up to the red light, not braking just because of a curve, etc) then a few hundred pounds won't make much difference.

I noticed they screwed up the 09 vette MPG. They put z06 mpg on the stock engine (reversed). LOL govt website .... same people probably that made up cafe.
