LFX with manual transmission shifting advise.

Hello,

When driving a '13 1LS yesterday I was smelling a lot of clutch.

What is the recommended time on the clutch for shifting? I'm used to getting off the clutch quickly for performance shifts. When I let the clutch up more slowly the smell went away but it wasn't as much fun to drive.

Any metrics or rules of thumb would be appreciated.

Give it time, the smell will go away!

I don't think I've ever smelled mine. If you're getting a clutch smell, I'd think it was just some residue left over from assembly. Try getting rid of it with a few hard starts, heh heh.

only time i used to ever smell clutch is when i'd ride it hard and be slow to pull off, but over time the smell will go away once it gets broken in
