Sold My 2011 IPF SC Convertible :(
Well a flat bed pulled up Saturday to take away the camaro. Installed the SC at 41k miles and as of Saturday it just broke 98k. Was never intending on selling it but was made an offer I couldn't refuse. A lot of the offer was due to the performance of the car with the IPF SC. Don't get me wrong the car was also in great condition except for the mileage.
Then Sunday a car carrier showed up at my driveway. Expected in a week, the driver rolled off a 2011 Porsche 911 S cabriolet ! Picked it up at an auction in Florida at what I think was a good price. Originally had a used 83 911 targa when I got married. It didn't last long due to back seat. I will still be around since I still have my 2010 coupe. I want to thank everybody on here for sharing their experiences which help me get the most out of my IPF SC. Thanks to Andy and Arno at IPF and the guys at J&M auto who helped with the initial install. http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/2016...ebcb7b7287.jpg Looks like I'll be getting in touch with IPF/KPE for a little 911 tune :happyanim: Thanks all ! |
A beautiful car..I would hope the new owner will treat it as well as you did

I will never be a fan of the 911s headlights, hideous IMHO.

Looks like a good trade to me Nutt! And glad to hear we'll still have your trademark "perma-grin" still around!
I'm also considering selling my very well modded, low mileage coupe for a reasonable price. I made the mistake of test driving a 2016 SS and now I've got the fever! If there is anyone interested, please drop me a PM.:thumbsup: |
Well at 98k miles you definitely enjoyed your Camaro . Hope it goes to a good home .

That exactly how it started for me ! I tried out a 2015 ZL1 then the 2016 SS and things escalated. Was in Florida on work/vacation and got bit by the Porsche bug. I love the Porsche but I have to say the up keep $ scare me. That why I got rid of my 2001 911. I do most of the work myself but the parts are just crazy. This time the 911 is a weekend car and not a daily driver. The Camaro was definitely personal for me. If I didn't need the truck for my daily driver I would never have let the camaro go. |
Now thats an upgrade
Congrats man!! |
Congrats Nutt, all us "Originals" are moving on....
