Before I could do anything to my Camaro, I spent the day with a pressure washer and my race car, cleaning the salt from its underside.

I thought we'd done a fairly good job after last year's racing, but obviously not:

When I'd recovered from that all-day battle, I brought the Camaro into the ICU and around midnite installed the LED side markers:

There's a ton of stuff to do today, first, finishing up the footwell lighting LEDs and wiring 'em into the dome light, then I think the next thing will be the short-throw shifter, then the new taillights (the bezels will get some black Plasti-Dip) and rear blackout panel. Then if there's enough time before Saturday's car show, I'll install the Heritage grill and SS emblem.
I'm gettin too old (and disabled) to work like this. But when kids on the sidewalk yell, "nice car!" as I drive by (happened yesterday as I was on my way to get something to load up on caffeine and sugar) it provides a little motivation.
I really like driving around with the sunroof open and the windoze down. Who needs A/C? More fun to relive my misspent youth when my hot rod was a 1953 Buick 4-door. :barf: Definitely wasn't a kool ride at the time.
