The most we get is 91 octane, which I will not say what I think about this state from that (I'm from North Carolina where we get 93).

Will try again soon, but we are about to hit the hottest month.

Nutbutt 07-27-2013 09:59 AM

Be sure you tell Arno that you are running 91 if you haven't already. They assumed I was running 93 the first time around.

JohnnyBfromPeoria 07-27-2013 12:11 PM

Nutbutt, there have been a LOT more tunes added to the menu since you tuned. Arno has 91 and 93 tunes available right on their site.

Can I trouble you for the part# on that belt?

And Magnum- which sock is that on your Airaid ?

Thanks guys!

Looked last week and there were only a few for 91 octane on an LLT ? Aren't you running an LFX ?

sycraft 07-27-2013 04:11 PM

BTW, what tune did you guys use? I'm using the one for Longtubes and AFR12 All readiness. No clue what the all readiness part is for though.

sycraft 07-27-2013 05:34 PM

Readiness is all your sensors.Meaning that they are all active and are working.Which are needed to be on in order to pass smog.No engine check light will turn on.

My friend did 362 whp/ 420 lb-ft on 80 shot of nitrous. He may good run for your wife when you get it.

His best run is 13.2 @ 112.7 mph on spray in 3200 da...

sycraft 07-28-2013 09:01 AM

my last time out was 13.2 at 109 with a bad clutch, now I have a good clutch amd need to try again

MagnumForceGB 07-28-2013 04:01 PM

Drove all the way to Stillwater and back for a club meet and about 2 miles from home the CEL comes on. I try to read the code through my Torque app, but not codes are there. Going to try the trifecta program, see if it can see what the code is for.

KMPrenger 07-28-2013 05:41 PM

Hope the CEL isn't a big issue Magnum.

Glad to hear you have her running. Sounds like there is room for some improvement though.

I'm sure you will be in the 13s. By the way, what was your 60' time on that 14.1 run? what did your wife run?

2.324 60', my tires are shot. I have to ease into the throttle or I'm spinning like crazy. Wife didn't have any good runs, 14.8's, the track had been rained on that morning and it was extremely humid. I should run better once I get my transmission tuned.

Still don't know what the CEL is, even Trifecta program isn't seeing what the code is. I think it might have been a problem with my ice-olator. I didn't install it originally and no CEL, but now I do after I installed it.

MagnumForceGB 07-28-2013 06:58 PM

Took the Ice-olator back off and the car started up better than last time. I also changed out the tune to a different one. Everything was going great till I started turning into my subdivision, the car shut off. I didn't let it sit long enough to learn the idle. Going to call Andy tomorrow, the previous tune my fuel trims were +20%, this one looks like they will be -20%. Need to get one that is Longtube compatible and works with the crap ass gas we get.

Good news is during the meet in Stillwater got a lot of compliments. Supercharger looked and sounded awesome. Just gotta get the tunes down.

KMPrenger 07-29-2013 12:51 PM

Yep get that tune down, and get that 60 foot time down from that bad 2.3.

Pretty obvious to me that you'll be running mid to high 13s very soon even if the conditions at your track get no better

lscamaro 07-29-2013 01:00 PM

Get some drag radials and you'll definitely lower those 60' times

MagnumForceGB 07-29-2013 08:50 PM

Got the tune I used on Friday installed and drove it to work, its great now, no problems. Andy is also getting me my transmission tune.

One thing is for sure now though, screw NA, I want the boost. If I ever get a V8 the first upgrade will be a centri supercharger, screw the warranty.

It sounds awesome, you can tell its non-stock now. Going to get some videos of it soon. Wife wants a supercharger for her Mustang for sure now.

 Please do! Just making it harder for me to wait!

Patrick864 RS 07-30-2013 12:41 AM

Yesss please make some videos of driving and the bov. I cant wait to get my kit put on lol I use videos of these kits to hold off my wait so it wont be too bad.

JohnnyBfromPeoria 07-30-2013 02:01 AM

Patrick, the kit doesn't use a blow-off valve; it recirculates. It's like a whistling sound.

Idle just sounds a bit "busier" to me. It isn't a distinct blower sound.

Boost gauges, are autometer cobalt gauges good? I tried to see what my boost was and my torque app said I was 16# at 6,000 rpm's.

Plus boost gauges makes the panties drop.
