Finally finish a few small projects. First I put on a ZL1 spoiler I picked up off Ebay.
$150. Did a lot of measuring and remeasuring before I could bring myself to drill holes in my car.

Painted my Bowties and got them on.

Last was painting and reinstalling the steering wheel trim and the trim around the dash gauges.

Nice work. I know sometimes the little stuff takes time. But we'll worth it.

I love it.. How do u like the spoiler black? do you have a far distance pic of the spoiler?

Burton 10-21-2013 03:32 AM

I used Duplicolor paint ,primer, and clear coat from Autozone on the bowties and the inside trim.

I do like the black more than a white matching color for the spoiler. Helps me stand out from the crowd a bit. I'm seeing more and more Camaro's popping up around here.

I'll try and grab a few distance shots later for you.

Spoiler looks real good. It looks almost exactly like the Z/TA spoiler I recently installed.

Heres another view. Did a side shot but the background was too dark to show the spoiler well. Got dark out before I upload the pic and noticed. Try again tomorrow. Hope a top view will due till then.

Is there holes visible in the middle of the spolier?

2010 SSRS 10-21-2013 08:53 PM

looks awesome, I like the spoiler in black

Burton 10-22-2013 03:14 AM

Only holes are the ones I drilled on top of the trunk lid (4) mounting and (1) for the brake light wire.

ZLWonton 10-22-2013 10:29 AM

Does this spoiler use the same hooked for the stock spoiler? And, can you show me the link to what where you got this one from?

Burton 10-22-2013 04:44 PM

Heres the link.

And it matches the holes already on the inside of the trunk lid. Open your trunk and look for the rubber washers. Two on each side. When you drill the holes they will match right up.

Yeah, but if you already had a stock spoiler there are six holes and if you get this one you'll have to fill in or plug the two in the middle under the third brake light portion that's raised up from the trunk lid surface. Just sayin... Otherwise it looks like a great deal.

Burton 10-22-2013 07:21 PM

Yes if you have a spoiler already on your camaro some holes may be left exposed. There is a raised area in the middle of the spoiler. The first picture shows it if you look close. Its also where the brake light is placed.
