1 Inch BMR Lowering Springs

Improve the handling and cosmetic appeal of your 5th Gen Camaro without sacrificing ride quality with a set of Lowering Springs from BMR Fabrication. The front springs lower the vehicle by 1” and have a spring rate of 220 pounds per inch. The rear springs lower the vehicle by 1” and have a spring rate of 460 pounds per inch. Both springs are constructed from high tensile silicone chromium spring wire. A set of BMR Lowering Springs (SP019) will lower the center of gravity and dramatically increase the cornering capabilities of your F-Body. Front springs (SP020) and rear springs (SP021) also sold separately. Installation time of 3-4 hours. Available in a red powder coat finish.

1.4 Inch BMR Lowering Springs

Lowering the center of gravity not only provides visual appeal, it also dramatically improves the handling ability of your Camaro. BMR lowering springs are specifically designed to provide optimal handling without sacrificing ride quality. Our extensive development time produced what we feel to be the optimal rates for this application. By using a 220 lb/in front spring and a 460 lb/in rear spring the car responds with a firm yet comfortable ride with much improved handling characteristics.

All BMR springs are cold wound from high-tensile chrome silicon wire, stress relieved, compressed for permanent set then shot peened and computer tested. Some of these procedures are overkill but it ensures a long, trouble-free life with consistent rates and ride heights. Because of these features, BMR is able to offer a lifetime warranty against spring sag.

Do you have to cut the bump stops with these springs. Wife is in Vegas this week and told me she made enough for me to get the springs I wanted...

do you carry the split kits yet? 1.4 front and 1.0 rears?

Cutting the bump stops in never required but is recommended by a few of the manufacturers. When your car is riding lower you have essentially lost suspension travel and have increased the likelihood of hitting the bump stop. By trimming it you are reclaiming some of that extra travel.
