Has anyone heard if they found a vendor to produce the hetitage grill and dove tail spoiler? :(

FWIW, I don't think what they are offering is what the OP is asking. Many, including me, like what they are offering.

The Heritage Grill is the one GM showed and said would be available as an upgrade part and I think just about 85% of the people on this site want. I don't know why it's taking them so long to get some of these accessory parts out the door.

I like to have one myself, what the hell takes so long GM? I hope someone from GM is on this site, The loyal customers are always right.

THAT is the one I was asking about. I've seen the one from revolution..close, but I'm not crazy about the mesh. At this stage in time with the Camaro being as popular as it is, you would think someone would have this grille and dovetail spoiler available so far. I think I saw a thread from Fbodfather awhile back that stated they were trying to find a supplier. Chevrolet are you listening to the Heartbeat of America or at least their voices? And while I'm at it. LS7 wheels? Thank you for the input from others.

Hylton lined up a supplier to do the wheels, 1500 dollars. Not a bad price at all.

is the heritage grill metal or plastic?

yeah , the gm heritage grille is awesome , i think we all hope it eventually comes out. We are making our own more aggressive grille , it can be installed with mesh or the billet aluminum insert. :chevy: they will be available along with a bunch more components after we get back from SEMA.

Anyone make a grille like this, I will buy it..........upper and lower? Any one?

You will see a lot more options after SEMA...

Our company will be releasing a new Grill, which will be what a lot of people have been looking for, a true retro grill....and also a new dovetail spoiler that looks amazing in the first few pictures we have.

Like some others said...stay tuned for another couple of weeks, and you will have some great choices.

Love that grill. Especially the splitter on the headlights and I don't care if it looks too Mustangy. My only issue is there isn't any turn signals with this design. Putting a set of LED tuen signals below the headlight would be nice.

From the mouth of the FbodFather himself, the delay in these accessories seems to be with finding a supplier. Many of them went under when GM went into Chapter 13.

Ah didn't know that. Bummer :/ Well I hope some enterprising plastics shop gets on this grill because they'll sell a ton of them.

Agree....thats one hot grill! Love the "SS" being inset like that as opposed to over the top of the grill.

It's coming soon. Here's a pic of it. Just had the distributor over test fitting the other day.

Never mind the people that don't have a Camaro yet and see all the available accessories from GM that could boost Camaro sales!!! Something to think about!;)

When GM makes it available, GMPartsDirect.COM lists their price as only $187.20. With free shipping. Much more reasonable than I thought it would be. The bad news, I've heard that you have to pull off the whole front nose to change or replace the grill. Is that true?

You do have to remove the front fascia but it`s a fairly easy removal. This tread posted by klove should help with the removal.

My guess would be about 2-3 months after SEMA wraps up and by the looks of the amount of Camaros at SEMA with prototype body kits and add-on`s there should be no shortage of choice`s.

According to John Cox, Camaro Parts Specialist for GM PP, the true GM Heritage Grille will be mid-December to mid-February. This info from him at SEMA 11/3...

well that backs up what the supplier told me. I wasn't gonna post it, 'cause I don't want those emails if/when it doesn't show up on time

It befuddles me how a part that was at SEMA 53 weeks ago is still not "out there"...

I mention John's name because that's what the man told me, so send those e-mails/cards/letters to him...

are they going to offer a chromed one? I would definitely buy a chromed one for my SIM! I have been looking for one for a while now!

:word: I still don't know why this wasn't released at the start. This would be their most popular aftermarket product I gaurantee ya! Which doesn't mean anything but I bet you agree with me :thumbsup:

Do you have to remove the front end to install it?
