Not sure I'm completely sold on this bad boy. Its nice but mine will be more than halfway paid off when this one come out. What to do what to do

Nice automobile; I would think red Brembo's would give it a more powerful, built for speed look.

performance question

with all the enhancements, why would GM continue to use a plastic CAI? if there is a 10-15 horse power gain in a metal tube with ceramic coating and a more open box with ducting.

I like it all...I hope they bring it in for $47,000. Above that it starts to get out of my price range.

It's already been stated by people who would know....that's not going to happen.

HOWEVER, could they (GM) please spend a day in the design department and try to clean up the routing of wires and hoses under the hood! You can't tell me that is the "best" layout they could come up with for the performance and asthetics of that vehicle.

I have to agree......they probably even stuck the dam heater hoses on top of the supercharger just like they stuck them on the SS intake.

Even a ZR-1 has a plastic intake tube. I don't think you are going to gain any horsepower from the material the tube is made from, or they'd be doing it.

ehh just place an LS9 under the hood and call it a day. Oh and add the
automatic transmission :D

Is it just a few of those pictures, or is there an IOM ZL1 there, in addition to the normal red one?

azgrw 04-12-2011 09:10 AM

I can't wait until the dealerships start taking orders... I've already have the wife on board with the purchase and the local dealership tells me they should start the ordering process with the next 3 months:D so hopefully that happens...:chevy:
