i love the show. can care less whats real and whats fake. It's entertainment. cool car shit thats hard to find on TV. Everyone has to ride this whole "it's fake" wave on everything they see. who cares ! Those cars launching with the front wheels in the air on a street is pretty badass. The power these things make is incredible and fun to watch. Doc, murder nova and Monza have some killer machines. I respect what these guys have. Good show !

Standing mile is irrelevant. The cars are built for 1/4, they would run out of gearing long before a mile.
Besides, it's a lot harder getting traction at full speed for 1/8 mile than just rolling into a 1 mile run;)
