Jet Power Module

Has anyone installed or know about the Jet Performance Module? It plugs directly into the factory PCM on the outside port as a piggy back device to the factory wiring harness, installs in just a few minutes. It is suppose to feed the PCM modified signals telling it to increase timing, shift points & better power gains?:w00t:They have one that just came out for the 2012 V-6 engine specifically.......

I've been wondering about this too.. I hear from so many people that these do not work, but jet has been around for quite a while and a lot of reputable venders carry their products.

Yea,alot of people get this module confused with those fake ones on ebay & such.JET is a reputable company they do alot of programing for nhra drag cars, indy cars, nascar & others.Been around a long time.

I'd like to see some kind of spec sheet on this also.

So what dies this do to the ecu?? I'm assuming it changes the afr?? Does this act as a "mini tune"?? The dealership will be able to see this during a regular check up because it will alter the ecu?? Please correct me if I am wrong because I really am not sure..

vicredLS 06-15-2012 10:29 AM

Yes it does change the a/f ratio but it is only detectable if you leave it plugged in the ecm when you take it in to the dealer, simply unplug it and plug the factory harness back in its place then everything is back to normal. Its basically an external device that changes signals & info going into the computer. It doesnt alter speed limiters & rev limiters though.

I hear ya, I have to get it installed by Friday at the latest, want to test it out before I install the Injen CAI which is also due to arrive on Friday :-) I'm even trying to find a local shop here so I can get some true dyno numbers with just it installed and then with both it and the CAI installed.
