I think the OBX are replica of BBK headers because they very similar. |
how much?

with high flow cats?
Of course I can't say forsure, but by just comparing side by side pictures, the BBKs don't really look like the OBX. The flange area where the cats are connected is different.
Those are test pipe only.

I had an OBX turbo stainless manifold on my old car. Never had a problem at all with it. I was running 12lbs of boost through it too. Knock off or not their products are good.
Anyone know the gains you get with the OBX?
Yeah I would be very interested to see a dyno on those.
high quality video & pics coming this evening...finally have some nice weather to do it
:w00t: look forward to it. Still love to see a dyno if anyone has found it just for reference as well.

Can't wait to see them also. I think OBX is a very good cheapest alternative way for header. Its 1 3/4 in size too but I wonder if that would kill low tq. alot of v8 guys have them and they are getting gains as same as the expensive ones so I think it would be the same for v6. |
Can't wait to see it.
don't care if it's a knock off LOL like does it matter? if it's the right material and specs for the job then it's all good.
Op btw are these LTs? |
I just check the OBX header is made with full t-304 stainless steel even the flange is completely stainless.

What are they a knock off of exactly? These are 1 3/4 right? The BBKs are 1 5/8.
EDIT: Sorry, saw the above post about them being pace setter knock offs. |

if I was making a knock off I dont think I would make one from a 200 dollar header.. some people say bbk, ARH, and now pacesetter. The point is, they are stainless steel, cheap and proven on dyno to gain about the same as other headers. V8 guys already dyno'ed and jannety racing agreed that its putting out same gain as what they are seeing from long tube's

do you have a manual or auto? the LT def made your mrt v2 louder. Sound good!
That sounds GREAT! Hope to see A Dyno but I am sure you can feel the difference anyway. That sounds like a manual
Gotta love that rumble!
wow that sounds amazing, and theres no RASP! :D
I cant believe how good that sounds, I thought the LTs would have made it really raspy, but it sounds great! I wonder how those would sound with my SOLOs! |
it's a manual...thanks everyone, I love the sound too...although at 5:30 in the morning leaving for work my neighbors in my apt building might not...lol
WOW........those sound GREAT.
Dude... 2 thumbs up! Can't wait to hear it in person!
