2010, 2011, 2012 Camaro MELLING/MTI High Volume LS3 Oil Pump

High volume performance upgrade for LS Engine. This oil pump provides more oil volume at a higher pressure relief setting. The relief spring installed in the pump is designed to increase the internal pressure setting an additional 10 psi over stock. A stock pressure spring is supplied with this pump which will reduce the internal bypass pressure back to the stock psi setting.

- 18% increase in volume over stock oil pump.
- The cast aluminum housing is CNC machined and hardcoat anodized.
- The cast iron cover is CNC machined and phosphate coated.
- The relief valve features a screw in valve plug with the optional lower stock spring supplied.
- Uses stock 1-1/4” bolt on screen.

Fits GM GEN III & IV 4.8L-5.3L-5.7L-6.0L and LS3 6.2L

what do you see as the pros & cons for the 10psi pressure increase?

i can see the volume increase side, make sure that the pressure relief stays open longer and the oil channels stay full at higher oil temps.
